6-6-1923 at Nagpur,Fr. Jean  Francois  FOULEX, from Charvonnex, Savoy.  Arrived  Visakh 1877.Worked  at Palkonda 1878. Yanam 1893-94.Transfer to Nagpur 1894. Parish Priest of Nagpur 1894-97, 1900, 1903-06, 1908-23. Parish Priest Kamptee 1897-1900, 1906-08, and three years in Khandwa 1901-03. He completed the towers of the Nagpur Cathedral.Vicar General 1909-23. 71 years old  

Fr. PETER VITTOZ

(1871 - 1927)

16-6-1927 at Nagpur Fr. Pierre VITTOZ,from Villard-sur-Thones,Savoy.Seminary 1890 at Gopalpore.Priest 1897.Worked at Kottavalasa 1900-02  and  other stations.Transferred to Nagpur in 1914, teacher SFS Nagpur 1914-20, Professor of philosophy at St. Charles Seminary 1920-24.54 years old.

Fr. EUGENE DECISIER

(1882 - 1927)

27-10-1927 at Indore, Fr. Eugene DECISIER, from Sevrier,Savoy.Came to India 1900 as a Seminarian. Studies in St. Charles Seminary,teacher SFS Nagpur.Priest 1905.Assistant Achalpur 1905-08,Missionary at Khandwa 1908-14.Went to France for the War 1914-19. Parish Priest, missionary Khandwa & Sirpur 1919-27.Died of cancer.A man of great ability & zeal.45 years old

Railwaychaplain.First Priest at Dongargarh 1906-11, Harda 1912, visited Gondia & Bilaspur from Nagpur 1912-16 and Kamptee 1916-29.74 years old  

Fr. JOSEPH PEILLEX

(1888 - 1929)

27-7-1929 at Nagpur, Fr. Joseph PEILLEX, from Bernex,Savoy.Teacher at Ville-la-Grand  Juvenate, came to Nagpur in 1925 Assistant in Ghogargoan, helped  to  build the  church. One year Principal St. Joseph Technical School. Nagpur Diocesan Chancellor. 41 years old

Fr. ALFRED DEMANUELLI

(1874 - 1929)

20-9-1929 at Nagpur ,Bro. Alfred DEMANUELLI,fromAllonzier-la-Caille, Savoy.Came  to  Nagpur in  1904.Made his Novitiate  &  temporary Vows, was not accepted for perpetual Vows in 1913. He remained as a lay helper at the Technical School, looking after the moral & spiritual needs of the boarders, teaching them Catechism, composing hymns and songs in Hindustani for their use and even several religious plays which they acted with gusto.55 years old

Fr. ALEXIS VOISIN

(1860 - 1932)

14-3-1932 at Nagpur, Bro. Alexis VOISIN, from Duingt,Savoy.Expert builder and  mechanic,completed St. Charles, Seminary, built Pachmarhi church.In 1897, he began St.  Joseph’s Technical,Nagpur trained many  boysin various trades, giving  them at the same time a sound Christian formation.72 years old

16-3-1933 at Nagpur, Mgr. Francois COPPEL, from Les Gets, Savoy. Priest in 1890, was 2 years in England, name to India 1892. Teacher and Principal SF School 1892-1907. Regional Superior 1905, Bishop of Nagpur 1907-33, 25 years that were years of great progress in Mission work,started  the  Apostolic School. An excellent teacher, a practical man who went straight to the essential, endowed with a wide vision and broadmindedness.66 years old

Joseph PALLUEL, from Vogland, Savoy.Priest 1904.Came to India 1904, did not renew his vows in 1905, and  remained  as a  diocesan priest.  Teacher St. Aloysius Jabalpur 1905 and SFS Nagpur. Lent to Poona during the War.Parish Priest Kirkee 1915-22.Worked in Jabalpur 1922-25, Itarsi 1929, Parish Priest Bilaspur 1930-33. 57 years old
